From a 1-hectare vineyard at 400m altitude in the Taburno subzone, this low-yield Falanghina (50 ql/ha) benefits from mineral-rich tuffaceous soil and southwest exposure, enhancing freshness and aromatic intensity.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant straw-yellow with golden highlights. The nose is expressive and layered, with floral notes of elderflower and hawthorn, followed by ripe apricot, banana, and a touch of balsamic herbs. On the palate, it’s lively and structured—fresh acidity meets generous fruit, delivering a full-bodied texture and a signature slightly bitter, almond-like finish that lingers. A refined and characterful expression of Falanghina with great ageing potential.
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with grilled prawns, seabass, calamari, oysters, and shellfish. Its brightness enhances lemon linguine, vongole pasta, and herb risottos. The creamy textures of burrata and buffalo mozzarella are elevated by the wine’s acidity.
