Theopetra Estate Aprilis Sparkling Rosé 2025

Vibrant, elegant and unmistakably Greek, Aprilis Sparkling Rosé 2025 is a dry sparkling rosé from Theopetra Estate, crafted from 70% Xinomavro and 30% Limniona, two indigenous Greek grape varieties grown in Thessaly.

Named after April, the month in which it is bottled, Aprilis celebrates the arrival of spring and the renewal of the vineyard. The grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards situated at approximately 300 metres altitude before undergoing secondary fermentation using the Charmat method. The wine then spends six months on the lees, developing texture and complexity while retaining its fresh, vibrant character.

Delicate light rosé in colour with fine, persistent bubbles, the nose is expressive and fruit-driven with an exotic aromatic character. On the palate, refreshing acidity is balanced by subtle sweetness and aromatic complexity, leading to a long, fruity finish with a distinctive note of sour cherry.

Refreshing enough to enjoy on its own as an aperitif, yet versatile at the table, Aprilis Sparkling Rosé pairs beautifully with fresh salads, pasta, light Mediterranean dishes and sweet-and-sour flavours.
