Inigos

Discover Inigos

At the heart of the Peloponnese, in the fertile valley of the Serdini River in Achaia, lies Inigos, a vineyard whose story spans four generations. What began in the early 20th century with raisins, and later Muscat of Rio Patras, has evolved into a deep commitment to two of the Peloponnese’s most emblematic varieties: Mavrodafni and Agiorgitiko.

The 20-acre vineyard, with its linear rows and carefully controlled low yields, produces grapes of exceptional quality. Mavrodafni, with its rich, velvety character, reflects the unique terroir of Achaia, while Agiorgitiko, sourced from the high-altitude slopes of Nemea at 500–600 meters, offers elegance and depth. Together, they embody the reputation of the Peloponnese as one of Greece’s most important wine regions.

Inigos is rooted in Lousika, Achaia, a place where history and prehistory intertwine. The soils, once seabed, still hold fossilized seashells, while extraordinary archaeological finds — from a mammoth skeleton to a vast Mycenaean cemetery — reveal the depth of human presence in the region.

Today, Inigos continues this heritage with respect and responsibility, crafting wines and oils that honour both the land of their ancestors and the enduring prestige of the Peloponnese.
