Wine Alive Manchester

Koul Agency was proud to take part in Wine Alive Manchester, a vibrant event that brought together wine lovers, producers, and merchants from across the UK. Visitors to our stand had the chance to experience the essence of Greece through a hand-picked selection of wines from Argyrakis Winery in Naoussa and Domaine Zacharioudakis in Crete.
Our showcase included the Ati range (White, Rosé, and Red), Assyrtiko, Vidiano, and Kotsifali, each highlighting a different expression of Greek terroir and craftsmanship. Guests were particularly drawn to the freshness and character of these wines, which reflect the country’s growing reputation for quality and authenticity.
The two-day event was an inspiring opportunity to introduce Greek wine to a wider audience in Manchester, connect with trade partners, and share stories behind the producers we represent. It marked another exciting step in expanding Koul Agency’s presence in the UK wine scene.

Our Greek Wine Tasting at Fig & Sparrow in Manchester brought together a full room of guests eager to explore the vibrant and diverse flavours of Greece. The evening blended a relaxed atmosphere with guided tasting, cheese pairings, and lively conversation that captured the spirit of Mediterranean hospitality.
The line-up featured six wines from Argyrakis Winery in Naoussa and Domaine Zacharioudakis in Crete, including Ati White, Ati Rosé, Ati Red, Codex White, Assyrtiko, and Kotsifali. Each wine reflected its region’s unique terroir, from the structured reds of Northern Greece to the bright, aromatic whites of Crete.
Guests enjoyed learning about the winemaking traditions behind each label while sharing stories, flavours, and impressions throughout the evening. The result was a warm, memorable night celebrating the richness and authenticity of Greek wine culture in the heart of Manchester.
Battle of the Whites

Our Battle of the Whites tasting at Maya’s Stores in London brought a lively crowd together for an evening of discovery, flavour, and friendly competition. Guests gathered to explore six distinctive white wines from Greece and Italy while enjoying curated cheese pairings and live music that set the perfect mood.
The tasting featured four Greek wines from Argyrakis Winery and Domaine Zacharioudakis, alongside two Italian selections from Ocone 1910. Each wine revealed its own character and regional story, from the bright minerality of Crete and the expressive balance of Naoussa to the elegant, textured whites of Campania.
Oxford Wine Festival

Greek wine made a lasting impression at this year’s Oxford Wine Festival, where visitors had the chance to discover the unique flavours of Greece through our curated selection of wines from Naoussa and Crete.
We showcased exceptional bottles from Argyrakis Winery and Domaine Zacharioudakis, including the Ati range (White, Rosé, and Red), Codex White, Vidiano, Assyrtiko, Victoria Rose and Kotsifali. Each wine highlighted the depth and diversity of Greek terroir — from the elegant, structured reds of Naoussa to the vibrant, aromatic whites and rosés of Crete.

Our September evening at Maya’s Stores in Oxford brought together a small group of guests for a relaxed and flavourful exploration of Greek wine. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly, with everyone gathered around the tables to taste, learn, and share their impressions of each wine.
The line-up featured six wines carefully chosen from two exceptional Greek producers, Argyrakis Winery in Naoussa and Domaine Zacharioudakis in Crete. Guests enjoyed the Ati White, Ati Rosé, and Ati Red from Argyrakis, as well as Vidiano, Victoria Rosé, and Kotsifali from Zacharioudakis. Each bottle showcased a different side of Greek winemaking, from the structured reds of the north to the aromatic, sun-kissed wines of Crete.
Curated cheese pairings accompanied every pour, and the tasting was guided by Koul Agency, giving guests a deeper understanding of the regions, the grapes, and the passion behind each wine. It was an evening filled with genuine connection, discovery, and a true taste of Greece in the heart of Oxford.
Italian Wine Tasting at Maya's London

Italian wine took the spotlight at our September tasting event at Maya’s Stores in London, where guests enjoyed an evening of flavour, music, and discovery. We showcased seven exceptional wines from Ocone 1910 in Campania: Quattro Ali Sannio Greco 2022, Collemarino Sannio Fiano 2022, Falanghina Taburno Sannio 2022, Sannio Coda di Volpe Taburno 2022, Aglianico del Taburno Rosato 2022, Sannio Piedirosso Taburno 2020, and Aglianico Taburno Red 2021. Each bottle offered a distinct expression of Southern Italy’s terroir and winemaking heritage.
The atmosphere was enriched with live music, curated cheese pairings, and the warm hospitality of the Maya’s team, making it a truly memorable night for everyone who joined us.
