Akriotou Winery, Orivatis Wild, Old Vine Savatiano 2022

Sourced from a single vineyard at the foothills of Mount Kitheronas in Central Greece, Orivatis Wild Old Vine Savatiano 2022 is crafted from 60 to 65-year-old Savatiano vines. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged on its fine lees for 21 months, it is bottled unfined and unfiltered, producing a textured, elegant wine that beautifully expresses this native Greek variety.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of lemon, honeysuckle, peach and melon are complemented by subtle buttery notes. The palate is rich and creamy, with layers of citrus, wet stone minerality and a touch of honey, leading to a long, refined finish.

Food Pairing Suggestions
Perfect with grilled seafood, roasted poultry, creamy pasta, mushroom risotto and mature cheeses. Best served chilled.
